admin http:// <![CDATA[“Facilitating Access: Sexual and Reproductive Health for Farm Workers in the Niagara Region”]]> http://www.enlace.ca/?p=651 2009-07-24T05:39:20Z 2009-07-22T03:24:19Z Enlace is coordinating an education and outreach project in the Niagara region in the summer of 2009.  Funded by the Carrot Commons’ Carrot Cache, the “Facilitating Access: Sexual and Reproductive Health for Farm Workers in the Niagara region” project has 3 main objectives:

- bring relevant sexual education to farm workers in the region
-  provide workers with support in accessing health services around concerns that they might have
- provide healthcare practitioners in the region with the opportunity to receive more information about key topics in sexual health facing migrant workers and to learn about the barriers that migrant workers face when accessing healthcare.

Show off your Canadian hospitality by coming out to watch a soccer game, take in some live music and partake in a free ceramic art workshop lead by artists from the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art.

Admission is free.
